Chicago Sights, Sounds and Hotels

The Riverwalk Gateway in Chicago is a magnificent 336-foot long wall consisting of twelve decorative and sixteen narrative panels of artwork by Ellen Lanyon, and records the history of Chicago from the time when the area was populated by native Americans, to the establishment of the city as the shipping centre and the livestock capital of the mid-continent, and historical events leading to modern-day Chicago. It tables the importance of the river and the historic reversal of its waters in 1900, the inferno of 1871 and the rebirth of Chicago from its own ashes.

So, for a new insight of the great city of Chicago, it's a terrific idea to get in a look at Chicago's Riverwalk Gateway. Expect to feel at ease whilst staying in one of the excellent Chicago Hotels.
